A local group of Linux users and FOSS supporters who meet monthly for Linux talks, education and discussion. One of our main goals is to help new people learn the benefits fo Linux and how to use it, so please feel free to join us! Welcome!
MadLUG is the Madison area Linux Users Group. Our goals are Linux advocacy, education, helping others with Linux, community-building, sharing ideas, and outreach. Our users come from a variety of backgrounds. Some are academics and students; others are system administrators, web designers and other IT professionals; and others simply enjoy computers. We have a diverse set of interests and ideas. There's always lots of great discussion on all things Linux, software, and technology.

This is an interactive group of IT professionals who work with and/or are interested in learning more about Red Hat. The group meetings will include technical discussions led by Red Hat employees and other group members. These discussion will be geared toward solving problems that IT professionals commonly face today. The group provides an open and collaborative environment where ideas and questions can be shared with all members. People of all backgrounds and skills sets are welcome to join.
Meet other developers to discuss your adventures in the world of Perl Programming. Perl isn't just another programming language. It's about making your life easier. It helps with things like system administration, web development, network glue, data munging, and even network daemons/servers. Not only that, but you can even write end user applications with a GUI that works on every operating system.

This group is a place for developers and database administrators to learn more about the non-relational, open source, document-oriented database MongoDB, the leading NoSQL database. As this group is brand spanking new, please bear with us as we try to get this thing off the ground!
We get together to talk about nerdy topics like Java, software development, and open-source projects. I started this group because as software developers, we should have a local group where we can go and network, learn from each other, and occasionally have a beer while being nerdy.
